Tragedy in Cagliari, dentist dies while playing tennis
Enrico Serra was 66 years old, his studio was in via Dante. The help of 118 is useless

It was the Saturday afternoon match between friends.
A "double" that has long since become a fixed appointment in Cagliari for Enrico Serra, 66 years old, who yesterday afternoon - during exchanges with his playmates on the clay court of the recreational club in via Chiara Lubich, almost on the Molentargius - suddenly collapsed.
The dentist, who had a practice in via Dante, died in a few seconds : a rapid and fatal illness that made even the immediate assistance with the defibrillator brought to the field by the managers of the Genneruxi sports club useless.
A few minutes later the crew of the 118 medical ambulance also arrived and began resuscitation procedures, but soon realized that the dentist was now dead.
A similar tragedy had already happened on 24 February 2017 on the same courts of the tennis club a very short distance from via Galvani. Italo Silvi, a 74-year-old pensioner from Telecom, had suddenly collapsed during a doubles match.
