Research underway in Castelsardo where a French tourist, 79-year-old Giauque Pier Andrè, disappeared yesterday morning from the historic center of the tourist village.

He was part of a tourist group who noticed his absence around 11, when after visiting the place he headed to the area where the bus was waiting for him. The alarm went off immediately, the friends of the group alerted the local police and carabinieri who, with the support of the CVSM-Civil Protection and the men of the barracellar company, started the searches continued until late at night with the contribution of many volunteers.

The reports via social networks and WhatsApp groups were of no use: no trace of the missing man. Swallowed into thin air. The various localities of the country have been subjected to control, informed of the disappearance in a few minutes, a rumble that has also reached the suburbs. The organized teams, this morning, have resumed the searches, which are difficult as the tourist does not have a mobile phone and this makes the possibility of tracing him even more complex.
