" Clear and defined rules are needed to avoid dangers and safeguard the environment ." This is what he wrote in a question to the President of the Region and Councilor for the Environment, Paolo Truzzu , group leader of Fratelli d'Italia in the regional council.

"The construction of the new waste-to-energy line in the urban waste incineration plant of Tossilo must be completed - Truzzu writes among other things - but it is necessary that, in addition to a desirable greater involvement of the interested Municipalities, the rules are clear and defined, so as to avoid dangers to public safety and safeguard the environment ". Truzzu refers to the numerous prescriptions established by the Province of Nuoro.

"The Province , authorizing the Industrial Consortium of Macomer, owner of the Tossilo plants - adds Truzzu - has established numerous prescriptions . Before definitively starting up the plant, it is therefore urgent to know what actions the Region intends to implement to avoid the potential situation of serious danger".

For their part, eight out of 10 mayors of the Union of Municipalities of Marghine remain firm on their positions, written in an official document: «We ask the most responsible institutions - it is written among other things in the document - a greater involvement of all the subjects involved in various capacities in the choices that will have to be made, starting with the involvement of the Municipalities of Marghine that, compared to others, find themselves exposed with respect to a decision on which the future development of the entire territory depends and will depend».
