He had a knife in his pocket. A minor from Tortolì showed up in the stands at the Fra Locci stadium to watch the Ogliastra derby between Tortolì and Lanusei.

Yesterday afternoon, during a random check organized by officers from the Tortolì police station, led by Deputy Commissioner Fabrizio Figliola, the young man was caught in the area reserved for the most fervent supporters of the rossoblù team.

A complaint was immediately filed for illegal possession and carrying of weapons. The boy, who was removed by the officers, also faces a ban. If the Nuoro police commissioner were to issue the order, the minor would be banned from all national and international sports facilities, either as a spectator or as an athlete, for a specified period, in any case not less than one year.

The measure is parallel to the judicial aspect: he will have to explain to the magistrate why he possessed the weapon. Several smoke bombs were also seized during the checks. Despite the complaint, throughout the match—which, incidentally, ended 1-1—there was a healthy, sporting atmosphere in the stands between two longtime rivals.
