A 50-year-old man nearly drowned near Orrì Beach, on the Tortolì coast.

To prevent the tragedy (it would have been the second in fifteen days), a human chain was formed, with lifeguards from the beach resorts and swimmers who rushed to the beach to reach the man, who was clearly struggling in the sea, with long waves driven by the sirocco wind. The man's condition is reassuring.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. today. Just two Sundays ago, at the exact same spot where the 50-year-old man nearly drowned, a woman originally from Lanusei but living in France lost her life. At that time, despite the human chain, attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful.
