The roar of the engines of over one hundred Harley Davidsons resounded today in Tortolì. The occasion was the gathering for the twenty-fifth anniversary of the 4 Mori Chapter Sardinia club .

Easy riders from all over Italy on their flaming motorbikes left Cagliari in the morning, lulled by the curves of the Orientale Sarda and arrived in Ogliastra in the early afternoon.

They paraded along Corso Umberto (open for passage) and Viale Monsignor Virgilio until they reached Saraceno where they stopped. Enthusiasts in raptures at the sight of masterpieces on two wheels like the CVO Street Glide. Many motorcycle clubs from all over the country participated, parading with their distinctive leather jackets and personalized flags to celebrate the pride of belonging to the great family of Harley riders .

Men and women of all ages. Lucia from Turin , with her husband, riding a Road Glide Limited, are regulars, they participate every year with the 4 mori: «A genuine gathering, you get on your bike in the morning and get off in the evening, they make you discover all the routes, less beaten, the most authentic Sardinia». A quarter of a century of outings, meetings, with the sole purpose of riding Harleys all together in the motorcycling spirit.

The 4 Mori is in fact part of the HOG world (Harley Owners Group), the world-wide motorcycle club sponsored since 1983 by the Harley-Davidson Motor Company that involves millions of members around the globe. Roberto Pilloni, from Cagliari, president of the 4 Mori Chapter Sardegna club, is excited about this great milestone: «We are at the quarter of a century of our group, for us it is fun, sharing, smiles, in the spirit of a big family» . The prestigious run continued in the late afternoon with the forks pointed towards Orosei.
