Tortolì, car pierced by the guardrail: the driver saves himself and drives away

Road accident before dawn today along state road 198, on the western outskirts of Tortolì.

A black Ford Focus fell on the guardrail, in which it remained stuck and suspended between the roadway and the embankment. The driver, in the moments following the impact, walked away closing the destroyed car.

On the spot, resting on the side barriers, also a blood-stained sweater which was probably used by the driver of the vehicle who was injured.

The firefighters of Tortolì, the carabinieri of the Lanusei mobile radio unit and the Lanusei traffic police intervened along the state road. The Anas teams have secured the stretch. Investigations are underway to trace the driver of the car, who was traveling in the direction of Villagrande, and reconstruct the dynamics of the facts.
