It has been closed since August 5th , with the end of the works postponed several times, but for the Easter holidays the Sa Codina bridge in Tonara reopens to traffic. To limit the inconvenience during these days, Anas has announced – starting tomorrow – the temporary new availability of the stretch of road of the state road 128 "Centrale Sarda", from kilometer 110+100 to kilometer 110+200.
The completion of the works, worth over one million euros, is now expected by the end of June . A new postponement: initially the Sa Codina bridge was supposed to remain closed for works until November 29, then the extension until March 28. This date was also not respected, causing serious inconvenience for those using the state road 128 and for the inhabitants of the area.
The measure is valid from tomorrow until 8:00 on Tuesday 22 April: it provides for the establishment of an alternating one-way system, regulated by traffic lights, with a speed limit of 10 km/h. And, in addition, it does not allow vehicles coming from Sorgono and headed to Tonara to turn onto the bridge. The reopening will only concern cars, mopeds, motorcycles and emergency vehicles . Then the construction site will resume, with the new phase of work.
