The accident that took place last night on 196, near Villasor, could have had far worse consequences. A 32-year-old went off the road in an attempt to avoid a stray dog that came out of a ditch. The car rolled over and hit the metal fence of the Decimomannu Air Force base, damaging it for about thirty meters.

The driver was injured and, rescued by a 118 ambulance, taken in yellow code - not in danger of life - to the Monserrato hospital for the various traumas suffered.

The Sanluri carabinieri intervened on the spot: the driving, insurance and circulation documents of the Fiat Grande Punto were in order.
