Explosion in a house on the outskirts of Tiana , in the province of Nuoro.

The four-storey building, located in via Nazionale, has almost entirely collapsed. There were four people inside .

Two were extracted from under the rubble: an 83-year-old woman, Eugenia Madeddu , who was brought to Nuoro in red code with the medicalized of Sorgono. She managed to report that she smelled gas before the detonation; her husband Edoardo Ibba was transferred to Cagliari by helicopter, again in red code, with a head injury.

The missing are the couple's daughter, Marilena Ibba, and her husband Guglielmo Zedda.

The other son of the elderly, who is studying in Cagliari, provides information on the layout of the house. The parents had returned last night from a cruise in the Mediterranean.

The explosion may have originated from a gas tank.

The dog teams arrived from Tempio Pausania and the Usar group (Urban Search and Rescue) from Cagliari.
