Three people from Sassari, aged 54, 53 and 38 respectively, were reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office by the carabinieri of the island station for having caught sea urchins and other species of fish, for a total of around 4.5 kilos, in the protected area, where Not only is fishing prohibited but also any activity that could damage the marine environment.
Spotted while they were fishing, the Carabinieri asked for the support of the Turritana Harbor Master's Office which intervened by sea to block the small motorized dinghy with which they had entered the off-limits cove , taking fish and sea urchins whose fishing is prohibited.
