Winemaking Sardinia enjoys excellent health. In fact, the labels awarded by Gambero Rosso with the " Tre Bicchieri " have risen to 17 , thus achieving the highest recognition assigned by the "Vini d'Italia" guide which will be presented on 15 October .

Among the vines are Cannonau , but also Mandrolisai DOC. Confirmations then come from red fruits from Bovale or Carignano . Regarding whites, at the top is Vermentino , produced in Gallura and other areas, especially in the south.

For Siddùra's Maìa this is, among other things, further confirmation, given that last June it was indicated as "Best Vermentino in Italy" in the "Premio Vermentino" competition.

«The choice to use truncated cone-shaped oak vats, from fermentation to refinement, proved to be a winning one, ideal for enhancing the characteristics of this vine and its terroir, which found its natural habitat in Siddùra», underlines Dino Dini , oenologist from Siddùra in also commenting on this new recognition. Maìa is the result of a philosophy that focuses on extreme quality, and is also the most awarded wine of Siddùra, born from a scrupulous selection of the bunches and meticulous work in the cellar. «It is a gratification that starting from Siddùra and Luogosanto extends to Gallura and the whole of Sardinia, increasingly recognized as a wine-producing land of excellence», they explain from Siddùra.

Another novelty for the Tre Bicchieri comes from the south, from Serdiana . The experts have in fact awarded the recognition to Bessiu , a dry Nasco.
