They burgled the cars of tourists parked on the most beautiful beaches on the south-eastern coast of Sardinia , from Quartu to Villaputzu, passing through Villasimius, Castiadas and Muravera. After a long investigative activity, a gang of thieves was defeated: three people, already known to the police for the same type of crime. In handcuffs are a 23-year-old and a 25-year-old born in Turin but resident in Quartu and a 40-year-old born in Bosnia-Herzegovina but resident in Cagliari.

The trio was identified after a careful study of their movements, also thanks to the support of the images from the video surveillance cameras and the testimonies of citizens. The Carabinieri, by cross-referencing the data, identified the vehicle used for the journey: a Peugeot 208 . The car was stopped on the state road 125 var , towards Cagliari, by the soldiers of the Radiomobile of San Vito.

After the search of the vehicle, in addition to various tools used for the burglary, luxury objects were also found including cash, perfume, tablets, designer clothes, crowns from the Czech Republic and Swiss francs. Part of the stolen goods has already been recognized by some tourists, allowing it to be linked to at least three thefts perpetrated during the day and the reports of the unfortunate people have made it possible to arrest the three men, who are now in prison in Uta awaiting the decisions of the judiciary.
