Having broken through a shop window with a hammer, two men broke into the headquarters of a financial company in via Santa Gilla in Cagliari but were stopped shortly after by the flying squad.

The theft of computers, tablets and mobile phones took place at the crack of dawn yesterday. The agents were engaged in the area for the usual control services, further intensified in the areas of via Sant'Avendrace and via Santa Gilla. Then, when the citizens' reports arrived at 113, they were able to surprise the two managers with the stolen goods still in possession.

A 32-year-old Senegalese and a 22-year-old Bulgarian, who also had the tools used to carry out the theft, were arrested. One was also found with about 3 grams of ketamine and various items stolen from another business in the same area, an incident on which officers were investigating.
