Thefts at the CPI of Quartu, two raids in a few days: "We need guardianship"

Two raids by thieves in a few days. "There is no security at the Quartu Employment Center where last Wednesday night and tonight someone managed to enter the offices, damaging the furniture and looting the workers' lockers".

The FP Cgil company coordinators Alessandra Fantinel, Alessandra Persico and Paola Pontis point out that «the offices of the CPI are located in an industrial area without lighting, not easily accessible and potentially risky especially in the evening, when the employees stop to recover working hours ».

The workers' representatives ask the management to activate "the security service, already present in other centres".

In addition to this, the Fp Cgil underlines the need to guarantee a safe pedestrian crossing and a public transport line, essential for both workers and users.

Tonight's new episode does nothing but exacerbate the climate: "At this point, immediate intervention to safeguard the safety and well-being of Aspal employees can no longer be postponed," said the FP CGIL coordinators. In case of missing answers, they announce, there is only one way out: the strike.
