Thefts and robberies in Arbus, bricklayer ends up in jail

A 57-year-old bricklayer from Arbus was tracked down by the carabinieri, arrested and taken to the Uta prison in execution of a decree from the Cagliari prosecutor's office.

The man, already known to the police, must atone for a sentence of five years, two months and 21 days in prison for robbery and complicity in aggravated theft at home.

Both crimes were committed in Arbus in 2012, on 6 March and 14 April. The local carabinieri had taken care of the investigations, who yesterday tracked down the convict and took him to his cell.
