Theft in the Municipality of Nuoro, thieves raid gardening tools. The mayor: «Give them back»

Theft in the Environment sector warehouse of the Municipality of Nuoro in Carta Loi: the thieves stole equipment used for mowing and cleaning.

It happened during the night between Thursday and Friday, but the mayor Andrea Soddu only announced it this morning on social media. The criminals, he says, «took 10 brushcutters, 2 lawn mowers, 4 pruners, 7 chainsaws, two augers for planting trees, a jackhammer, a water pump, a welding machine, a grinding wheel, various materials and equipment and a vehicle Nissan flatbed truck, probably used to take away the stolen goods".

Damage of 50 thousand euros which "paralyzes the activity of municipal gardeners, who will not be able to mow and clean municipal streets and public places, such as schools and gardens".
