The stab wounds against his daughter, then the attempted suicide. The drama that took place yesterday in Silì , a hamlet of Oristano, left the whole community dismayed and in pain.

Chiara Carta, 13, was killed by her mother while she was in the bathroom of the house, a villa in via Martiri del Risorgimento, she was preparing to go out, she had already put on the jacket. Monica Vinci, 52, would also have tried to choke the girl by squeezing a charger cable around her neck. After beating Chiara to death, she opened the window and threw herself downstairs. The thud attracted the attention of the neighbors: the woman was on the ground, injured.

Those around her asked what had happened, as if she didn't remember anything. Now she is hospitalized.

Shortly after, her ex-husband, Piero Carta, a traffic policeman who had just finished his shift, arrived at the scene. It was he who guessed that Chiara was in the house and that something serious had happened to her.
