Luxury cruises are also coming to life in Olbia . Following calls by the French ship Le Dumont-d'Urville (Le Ponant group), the Nautica (Oceania Cruises), and the Belle des Oceans (CroisiEurope), this morning the Sea Cloud Spirit, a ship from the Sea Cloud Cruises company, docked at the port of Isola Bianca.

Currently the largest cruise ship in the world, at 138 metres in length and with three square-rigged masts, was launched in 2020 and will operate alongside its sister ships Sea Cloud and Sea Cloud II in the ultra-luxury cruise segment.

On board were 107 American passengers belonging to the Kalos Golf group , a tour operator based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, specializing in luxury trips that combine high-level golf and cruises on “boutique ships”.

The stop in Olbia, which includes an experience at the Pevero Golf Club, is part of the five-star 10-day Riviera Golf Cruise itinerary, priced at around $10,000 per passenger.
