A young man from Sassari is missing after falling into the water in Stintino while fishing.
Some people witnessed the scene. Firefighters and the Coast Guard were mobilized.A 32-year-old man from Sassari disappeared at sea in Stintino after falling into the water this morning while fishing from the cliff in the "Scoglietti" area.
The alarm was raised this morning by the Porto Torres Coast Guard shortly before 9:30 a.m., when two German tourists spotted a man in distress swimming near the coast, who then disappeared from their sight. The two called for help.

A patrol boat from the Porto Torres Port Authority, a fire brigade helicopter with its diving unit, and another Coast Guard helicopter, which took off from the Decimomannu base to patrol the area, arrived on the scene .
So far, given the difficult weather and sea conditions , the search has been unsuccessful. The man was identified thanks to his car, found parked not far from where he disappeared.
