A 47-year-old from Siliqua, already known to the police, was reported for receiving stolen goods after being found at the wheel of a stolen car.
It is a Fiat Panda , on board which the Carabinieri of the local station had never seen him.
The military, having crossed paths with him, suspicious of the "novelty", thus stopped him for a check. And from the investigations it was discovered that the car had indeed "disappeared" from the Villacidro area , as per the owner's complaint presented last February.
The 47-year-old was thus reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office while the car, in excellent condition, was returned to its rightful owner, a 23-year-old who was now desperate to find it.
