The regeneration of the historic center of Oristano takes shape. The Municipality has entrusted the engineer Costantino Soddu and the geologist Giulia Piroddi with the design of the works which will involve 1.5 million drawing from the 20 million budget of the Pnrr.

This is a first step in an attempt to recover the heart of the city, neglected by the various municipal administrations to such an extent that the residents have dropped from 8,000 to 3,000 in the last fifteen years.

Not a brick has been moved in the neighborhood within the ancient walls for thirty years, the streets are uneven, the lighting is only a guess and the decorum is below the threshold. The mayor Massimiliano Sanna's council will indicate to the planners the priorities on which to intervene, knowing full well that one and a half million is a lot but not enough to fix the deterioration of the neighbourhood.

The Giunta also approved the project for the redevelopment of Piazza Manno for 2 million and the design assignment of Piazza Mariano.
