The “Foiso Fois” art and music high school in via Bixio in Pirri has dedicated two olive trees in memory of the innocent victims of the Years of Lead: the judge and university professor Guido Galli, killed in Milan on 19 March 1980 by the extremist group Prima Linea and Vittorio Occorsio, Public Prosecutor at the Court of Rome, assassinated on 10 July 1976 by the extremists of Ordine Nuovo.

The two trees were planted by the students of the fourth B and fourth E classes and by the project's teachers Barbara Ardau, Gabriele Saiu, Gian Luigi Pittau and Stefano Zorco, in the "Garden of Legality", located in the high school courtyard . "This gesture also means remembering them alive, as their families asked us", declare the teachers who took care of the project.

Previously, on the occasion of the thirtieth Day of Remembrance and Commitment to remember the innocent victims of all mafias, which is celebrated every year on March 21, ten olive trees were planted dedicated to as many victims of the mafia: Emanuela Loi, Paolo Borsellino, Giovanni Falcone, Bonifacio Tilocca, Rita Atria, Anna Nocera, Don Graziano Muntoni, Vito Schifani, Don Dino Puglisi and Domenico Gabriele known as “Dodò” .

" We wanted to remember them as if they were still alive, as their families asked us ," the teachers add. "Crime and mafias tried to erase them forever, along with their memory, but they failed, with our commitment we bring them back to life."
