The Asinara National Park-Marine Protected Area, on the occasion of the Bitas 2023 - International Exchange of Active Tourism in Sardinia - will have an exhibition space in the area dedicated to the parks and marine protected areas of Sardinia.

The event is scheduled for Thursday 23 and Friday 24 March in Alghero, inside the former fruit and vegetable market. A first participation for the Asinara Park, an opportunity to exhibit the promotional material of the island and its natural beauties.

Bitas is the main tourist promotion and marketing event held in Sardinia with about one hundred international tour operators, as well as numerous journalists and bloggers, who will meet the operators of the local offer. The stand under construction in the coming days will showcase the visitor centers present at Asinara, the Observatory of the Sea with its turtles, white donkeys, beaches and inaccessible coves, two small villages overlooking the sea and a maximum prison safety.

The event, hosted in the 'Villaggio Bitas', which includes several locations in the center of Alghero (Lo Quarter, Largo San Giovanni and the 'old market'), will be opened on Thursday 23rd, at 9 am by the General States of Active Tourism, in conference center of the Catalunya hotel, with over 200 members.

While, on Friday 24th, at 9 am, the meeting workshop between supply and demand will begin, the central moment of the event. On the same day, three seminars will also be held on "Active tourism supply and demand", "Data-driven tourism: analyzing data to make more effective decisions" and "Paths and itineraries in Sardinia".
