Murder of Francesco Salis, a third man was allegedly present at the time of the crime that took place in Santa Giusta on the night between August 9 and 10. An element that emerged in the light of a witness's account.

In the heated discussion, a stick, a billhook and the pellet gun had come out, the one belonging to Andrea Giuntoli who had fired a shot at close range into the side of Francesco Salis.

According to defense attorney Patrizio Rovelli, it would have been self-defense. Leveraging these elements, the lawyer this morning argued before the Court of Review of Cagliari the appeal to request the mitigation of Giuntoli's precautionary measure and to urge a reevaluation of the case.

The judges have reserved their decision, they will do so on Monday 16th.
