With a council resolution, the municipal administration of Stintino led by the mayor Rita Vallebella has decided for 2024 to increase the tourist tax paid by those who stay in hotels or holiday homes.

The aim is to recover further resources, to increase funding for interventions in the field of tourism - including those to support accommodation facilities and for maintenance - use and recovery of local cultural and environmental assets, and for the related local public services .

In hotel and non-hotel facilities, from January to April and in the months November-December the expected rate per person is 50 cents, 1.50 euros in the months May-June and September-October and 2.50 in the period July-August .

In open-air accommodation facilities, from January to April and in the period November-December, there is a rate of 50 cents, and 2 euros in the months from May to October. For rental properties, a 3 percent rate is established on the rent to be paid to the Municipality.
