Miss World's long journey across the island begins in Cagliari : on Sunday, starting at 5 pm, in the evocative atmosphere of Villa Fanny, the selections for the beauty contest, born in the United States in 1951, will begin. Admission to the show is free, but you will need to reserve your seat.

Many young people have applied to participate, but only one will be able to represent Italy at the world final.

Starting this year, Miss World will be organized by Alessia Ghisoni and Cinzia Murgia, entrepreneurs who own events and several brands operating in the fashion and events world.

Beauty, but not only. The competition also highlights personality, style, and elegance.

Also attending the first evening of the selections will be Giorgia Pinna, a popularizer also known as the Itinerant Pedagogist, born and raised in Sardinia. She pursues an alternative approach to her profession, born from the idea that education shouldn't remain confined to textbooks, but should move, meet people, and adapt to real-world contexts.
Miss World organizers Alessia Ghisoni and Cinzia Murgia are ready to welcome girls from all over the island: "Ours is an innovative approach to pageants; we aim to highlight the participants' intelligence, creativity, determination, strength, elegance, and empathy. Furthermore, we give girls the opportunity to showcase their passions and talents in various fields. This format offers each contestant the opportunity to bring their best selves to the catwalk, express their individuality, and share their story with the world. The pageant's vision is to enhance and promote female excellence in all its facets. Given the very young age of the participants and the support of their families, the pageant will focus on promoting the importance of emotional education, in contrast to cultural and social models that, especially through social media, promote oppression. Respect for others in all its forms is fundamental to a clean and welcoming society: in the family, at school, in the workplace, towards women and the most vulnerable. We want Miss World to exude an air of rebirth, positivity, and friendship, starting from behind the scenes.
