Now it's official: the Frecce Tricolori will perform in Cagliari on Sunday 20 August, with training the day before. The scenario of the evolutions of the national acrobatic team will be the Poetto.

The center of the event, which will start at 17.15 on both days, will be positioned by the Air Force in the area of the old Marine Hospital. Access to the beach will be free without any prohibition.

Only access to vehicles will be prohibited on the Poetto seafront in Cagliari and up to the seafront area of the Municipality of Quartu , from 2 to 7 pm on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 August 2023. With a subsequent order from the Traffic Service, the prohibitions will be illustrated in detail.

The demonstration will start on both days, with the passage of the Italian flag over the area of the event, towed by the AW139 AM military aircraft. Immediately after, 2 civil acrobatic vehicles will perform and to follow the passage of the AW 139 military aircraft of the 15th Stormo - 80th CSAR based in Decimomannu.

The initiative will end with the performance of the Pan (National Aerobatic Team) "Frecce Tricolori" which will enter the Poetto flight area around 18.05 and will leave around 18.30.

The Patrol during practice on Saturday 19th will not use the tricolor smoke which will instead be used on Sunday 20th.
