The Porto Conte Park establishes its first Council . The news came during the last assembly that appointed six members - chosen from among the representatives of the main ecological, cultural, sporting, trade union and craft and trade categories - of the new body.

The Council can express opinions on the Park 's planning and policy acts and, on its own initiative, make proposals and observations to the other bodies of the management body.

During the body's assembly, membership of the "Rural District of Alghero" was also approved, which aims to encourage the development of rural activities in close connection with the protection of biodiversity .
