The Fertilia cine-theater is reborn with an investment of almost two million euros

Almost two million euros for the old cinema theater in Fertilia.

The City Council has resolved to allocate all the available resources of the urban quality and territorial marketing pilot project to the restyling of one of the symbolic properties of the township. Precisely, one million and 900 thousand euros are available to the Municipality of Alghero, never used "due to delays connected with the definition of the strategic lines defined way back in 2008 - reads a note from the Municipality - and to the problems relating to the impossibility on the part of the Region of Sardinia to transfer the ownership of some real estate included in the original project".

Satisfied Mayor Mario Conoci to finally see the practice unlocked. “Fifteen years is enough. It will now be a question of making up, at least in part, for lost time. Alghero deserves it but above all Fertilia and its inhabitants - he said - who have been waiting for years to see old buildings shine and around them projects of social, economic and tourist growth".
