The Ersu of Cagliari spent 48 thousand euros on a flop party : the accusation lies with the student representatives, who saw the money leave the institution's coffers while eligible non-beneficiary students are still waiting to receive the promised scholarships.

Only a few dozen participants for the "inaugural event for the students of the University of Cagliari" which was held on Friday night at the Fair. The leaders of the institution for university studies, who according to some rumors promoted the initiative with the input of the young member of the Board of Directors Federico Manca, wanted to «promote a moment of conviviality through musical culture which, as we know, unites especially the younger ones», we read in a note issued before the appointment.

The organization was entrusted to Gianluca Romano's Essea Srl, a company based in viale Ciusa in Cagliari. The location was that of the Fair's Opera Music Forum. A space that is hosting numerous successful events. But this one from Ersu, according to videos and images, did not have a great following. On the contrary.

What struck the certainly not large group of participants were also the prices: under the Ersu logo, 8 euros were asked for a cocktail. An expense that is certainly not within the reach of all students.

«Ersu thinks first of pleasure and then of duty», attacks Matteo Pisu of the Unicaralis student association, «that party was a spit in the face of the students who in December found themselves without scholarships despite being eligible». And there are thousands.

«It was a fail that we all expected, because this organization should apologize to all of us for the non-services it is carrying out», relaunch the guys from Kita Assotziu, «there is not one thing that works well, between canteens, scholarships, student housing. Every month there is a need for a new mobilization to hope to be able to continue studying."
