The church of Burcei reopens to the faithful: the inauguration after the works

End of the works for the church of Burcei, Santa Maria di Monserrat.

The church designed by Gaetano Cima in 1886 reopens to the public today after the renovation that was necessary a few years ago.
This afternoon at 4.30 pm the inauguration in the presence of Archbishop Monsignor Giuseppe Baturi : he will work alongside Don Giuseppe Pisano , the parish priest who fought so hard to raise funds and keep the construction site open until the end.
In recent years, the Burcerese have been able to follow the religious services in the parish hall, in a precarious but functional arrangement . Therefore enthusiasm for today's official reopening.
