The blitz was carried out yesterday evening around 21. The soldiers took up positions in a secluded point and pointed their telescopes towards the area considered to be a drug market.
They weren't wrong. A forty-five year old approached the man under observation and bought a dose of cocaine. The carabinieri decided to intervene. First the customer was blocked, reported to the Prefecture as a drug user. Then the dealer was searched. The checks were also extended to his home.
44 doses were found, for a total weight of 6.5 grams of cocaine. Also seized 205 euros in small denomination banknotes.
For the sixty-two year old the house arrests started. The 53-year-old who served as his lookout was also reported. Not very careful, given the outcome of the operation.
