The carabinieri used binoculars to collect evidence of the drug dealing in via Lussu in Selargius . The pusher ended up in trouble - a sixty-two year old known in the offices of the Arma - one of his accomplices who acted as his pole and the buyer.

The blitz was carried out yesterday evening around 21. The soldiers took up positions in a secluded point and pointed their telescopes towards the area considered to be a drug market.

They weren't wrong. A forty-five year old approached the man under observation and bought a dose of cocaine. The carabinieri decided to intervene. First the customer was blocked, reported to the Prefecture as a drug user. Then the dealer was searched. The checks were also extended to his home.

44 doses were found, for a total weight of 6.5 grams of cocaine. Also seized 205 euros in small denomination banknotes.

For the sixty-two year old the house arrests started. The 53-year-old who served as his lookout was also reported. Not very careful, given the outcome of the operation.
