The ancient pavement of via Roma in Cagliari damaged by the works?
It is the doubt of a citizen, who presented a complaint to the Prosecutor of Cagliari and to the Superintendency for cultural heritage.
The carabinieri of the heritage protection unit will take care of the investigations, who will have to verify whether the removal of the paving stones from via Roma has been carried out correctly .
The lighthouse of the Public Prosecutor's Office was lit on compliance with the tender specifications. According to the latter , the nineteenth-century stones that formed the promenade on the porticoed side of via Roma had to be carefully removed, cataloged and then placed back on the roadway.
And instead, hence the doubt, the paving stones were deposited on the edge of via San Paolo , in what according to the citizen who presented the complaint is a real improvised landfill.
