The African anticyclone is back in Southern Italy and Sardinia.

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday 17 August, temperatures are rapidly rising on the island, so much so that the regional Civil Protection has issued a warning of adverse weather conditions that starts from Wednesday at 6 am and lasts until 6 am the following day.

Very high temperatures throughout the island, above 37 degrees, in some cases even above 40 .

The inland areas of the island will be the most affected by this new intense heat wave together with western Sardinia .

The recommendations are the same: do not go out during the hottest hours (12-18), especially those at risk. In homes, protect yourself from the sun with curtains or blinds, eat light meals, drink water and eat fruit, avoid alcohol and caffeine.
