Woe betide anyone who's missing a slice of casu agedu from the table . It's a priority on Battista Gessa 's menu. The old man from Tertenia turned 102 , and for his birthday, he insisted on refreshing cheese too.
He didn't hold back at the table, and, being the big eater that Mr. Battista is, he also ate culurgionis and a piece of roast lamb. Plus cake and an ice cream cone.
Gessa, who once emigrated to Milan, was married to Adelina Brendas, who passed away in 2005. The couple had four children, and today he spends his days listening to traditional music and taking a stroll near his home.
