"A new phase begins today. We are here to build together and put an end to a dispute that has been dragging on since the last legislature , through a process of dialogue and listening". This was stated by the regional health councillor, Armando Bartolazzi , to the representatives of the trade unions Cgil, Cisl and Uil of Sassari , in the first meeting aimed at concertation on territorial health.

"We have kept a promise made during the start of the shared path with the President of the Region, Alessandra Todde, and with the representatives of the trade unions at the regional level", continued Bartolazzi. " Our commitment was to start discussions with the territories immediately after the appointment of the commissioners and so it was . It is no coincidence - he added - that we decided that the new commissioners of the ASL 1 Paolo Tauro and of the AOU of Sassari Mario Palermo should also be present at this meeting. The presence of the General Director of Ares, Giuseppe Pintor, also underlined the strictly operational nature of this first meeting".

The list of topics on the agenda is long, some of a strictly territorial nature, such as the situation of the hospitals of Alghero and Ozieri, the Hospice of Ploaghe, the long-term care of Sassari and Thiesi. Others, however, are aspects of a more general nature or clarifying the application of Law 8: among these the role of Ares, decentralized bargaining, the structuring of the Departments, waiting lists, salaries and the freeze on turnover.

Councilor Bartolazzi assured his full availability to find meeting points and convergence with the trade union parties.
