Moments of fear for a van that caught fire on State Road 131 near the junction for Terralba.

The two people traveling in the vehicle, seeing the smoke and flames, were quick to pull the vehicle over in the emergency lane and managed to save themselves.

The alarm was immediately raised: the Oristano firefighters intervened on site and put out the fire and made the area safe.

Laconi traffic police officers also intervened due to traffic disruptions.
