The notary from Oristano Luigi Ianni was sentenced to three years, his wife Cinzia Casula to one year and seven months. The judge of the Court of Oristano Marco Mascia went beyond the requests of the prosecutor Armando Mammone, who had requested acquittal for the accused. With this sentence issued this morning, the trial for false invoices in the name of the Uraki company and tax evasion amounting to 577 thousand euros was closed.

According to the defenders Filippo Viola, Italo Doglio and Luigi Porcella, "there was a lack of evidence for the alleged crimes, while there are only suggestions". The defense argued that the notary "had never passed on the costs of household utilities and other services to the Uraki company". This is why they had urged the acquittal of the accused.

According to the investigation by the Financial Police, the professional would have set up a huge tax fraud by issuing invoices (in the name of the company) which were used by himself to reduce the taxable amount to be taxed.
