But the Regional Investigative Unit of the Forestry Corps, along with personnel from the Sanluri Forestry Station, was observing him via drones. And extinguishing operations began immediately. Simultaneously, a pursuit began: for the confirmed violation, an administrative fine ranging from €5,000 to €50,000 was imposed, reconcilable with a fine of €10,000. It happened in the Marmilla countryside.
The use of the latest-generation drones in service with the Forestry Corps is crucial. "Thanks to extremely advanced imaging systems and powerful zoom capabilities," explains the Forestry Corps, "these instruments allow us to monitor vast areas with great precision, promptly identifying risky situations and illegal behavior. Operating at high altitudes, the drones are practically invisible from the ground, allowing operators to observe and document events discreetly and safely ."
