Suspicious parcel at the sorting center of the Elmas Post Office, the bomb alarm goes off

Bomb alarm at the sorting center of the Italian Post Office in Elmas . The suspicions were triggered by a package containing electrical material which, late yesterday evening, was noticed by an operator while passing the scanner .

The package had departed from Senorbì and had to arrive in Bergamo : inside there were electric wires and equipment. At that point the call to 112 began. The carabinieri of the Pirri station and the bomb squads arrived on the spot to check the package first from the outside and then opening it.

Inside there were only drone batteries , so the alarm ceased.
