A large-scale Carabinieri operation against predatory crimes in the Sulcis region began at dawn . Since the early hours of today, officers from the Cagliari provincial command have been engaged in a major raid in Carbonia and surrounding areas, aimed at targeting a suspected criminal syndicate specializing in theft.

By order of the Cagliari Judicial Authority, seven arrest warrants are pending against individuals seriously suspected, to varying degrees , of criminal conspiracy to commit property crimes. This coordinated and comprehensive operation involves the deployment of over 80 Carabinieri.

The territorially competent departments are taking part in the operation, supported by the "Cacciatori di Sardegna" Helicopter Squadron, the Carabinieri Dog Units and the 11th Helicopter Unit of Cagliari.
