Suitcase abandoned on the street, bomb scare goes off in Selargius

Alarm raised this morning in Selargius for a suitcase abandoned outside a house.

The Carabinieri intervened on Via Toscana, sealing off and securing the area. The bomb squad then arrived for an inspection, which yielded negative results: no trace of explosive, incendiary, or chemical devices, and only personal effects were found inside.

Further investigations are underway to determine whether the suitcase was stolen and subsequently abandoned or whether it was simply left at the scene.
