Neither for nor against . At the moment, the bill on suitable areas approved by the Council on Thursday is on neutral ground, the first step in a bureaucratic-regulatory process that on paper could last until early January, when the 180 days assigned to the Regions to legislate on green mapping expire. That is, to indicate where the plants can or cannot be built. Otherwise, the national decree signed by Pichetto Fratin provides, Rome will decide the location by force.

The mayors' line is flowing along the channel of caution for one reason: only since yesterday resolution 36/1, with the report and seven attachments, is online on the Region's website. Daniela Falconi , the president of Anci Sardegna, the association of municipalities, makes it clear what the atmosphere is like among the tricolor bands. " The examination of the bill has just begun ," she clarifies. "We are still in the reading phase. We reserve the right to verify, check and examine each individual attachment in greater depth and ask to be heard in the Regional Council, should the reasons be recognized."

The evaluation of the bill is in any case further along than what is being suggested. So much so that the first questions are being raised on the political table, coming from the territories. The most important concerns the construction of large wind farms, those "with a rotor diameter greater than 55 meters" and "hub height exceeding 75", as can be seen from the documents of the Council. The Region, in response to a specific question, explains that "this type of RES will be limited to the maximum".

If and when the tricolor bands will be heard again by the Council on suitable areas, it is not given to know. In any case, on Wednesday the bill arrives in the Regional Council.
