"The Todde Council's bill is a flawed and dangerous proposal for the future of the Island - they added - Therefore, this stop is our victory and shows how the flexing of muscles, in particular by President Todde, has not been productive". The majority has however said no to the proposal to bring the bill back to the commission, relaunching instead on the opportunity for the group leaders to address the revision of the text. Which they will begin to do this afternoon.
Furthermore, the centre-right informs, "being convinced that an ordinary law is not sufficient to protect our territory, we have asked for and obtained the commitment to consider a provision for the implementation of the Statute on the issues of energy and landscape and a special commission on energy issues, chaired by a regional councillor of the minority".
The president of the Regional Council Piero Comandini expressed himself in very different terms on the postponement of the Chamber: « The session was postponed due to the common interest of the parties to make the best possible law for the Sardinians on a fundamental issue such as the energy transition that concerns the future of our Island ». On the proposals of the minority: «The issue of energy communities is very hot and the majority is interested, and a commission that helps the majority and the Council to create an energy plan is a reasoning that can lead to a positive result».
Comandini is also in favor of including references to the Statute in the bill: «In this legislature, statutory principles must be fundamental, not only when we talk about energy but also about transportation and on issues that await answers». On the possibility of a merger between the Suitable Areas bill and Pratobello 24, the president is clear: « The Suitable Areas bill is being discussed today, all the improvement proposals will be included in this text ».
