Sudden illness at home: Solarussa, professor Danilo Scintu dies

Professor Danilo Scintu died of a sudden illness yesterday in his home in Solarussa. He was 61 years old and during his life he was a great expert in megalithic architecture, with his works that left an indelible mark in the field of historical and archaeological studies.

Scintu, in addition to his scientific commitment, was also an architect and writer . His three essays on the understanding of the past: "The towers of the sky", "The architecture of the arcane" and "The measure of shadows". Works created after years of research and passion, which have received great praise from scholars and readers.

Born in Abbasanta in 1963, Scintu graduated in Architecture at the University of Florence. He was also a popular teacher and was well known outside the province of Oristano .
