The alliance between Tusitala storytelling and the Il Colombre association makes the program for the ninth edition of " Su Mortu Mortu - our Halloween" which animates the historic center more full-bodied and varied. of Sassari with over fifty extras, dancers, stilt walkers in costume, stage effects, flash mobs, haunted shop windows and of course lots of chocolates and sweets offered by the vendors.

The Annual Halloween Tournament kicks off today at 5:30 PM.   It turns into a magical treasure hunt , "Scusorgius and the Dark Pact of Traiggogiu," which will wind through the shops and alleys of the historic center. Scusorgius is not just a game, but a cultural journey and a different way to experience Sassari, rediscovering its hidden soul through the magic of shared storytelling.

It will start tomorrow at 4pm   the storytelling and widespread theatre event (the artistic director is Monica De Murtas) at the Dessì bookshop in Largo Cavallotti with “Scary Afternoon”: children aged 5 to 10 will be able to transform themselves into terrifying monsters for the occasion thanks to the face painting of the ABC association.

It will depart from 5.45pm   Piazza Santa Caterina (the Town Hall, home to the Youth Information Office and the Electoral College), is where the theatrical performance will begin. It will enliven the historic center, featuring costumes designed by Fabio Loi and scenic effects, sound design, and lighting by Giambattista Cuguttu. Artists will enliven the streets and "haunt" the shop windows, bringing to life the characters of Babborcu and Maschinganna, the Mother of the Sun and the Mother of the Cold ; Maria Farranca ; the magical janas (fairies of Sardinian tradition); the mystical shaman healers ; and characters from Anglo-Saxon tradition: Jack Skellington and his Sally; the Phantom of the Opera with Christine ; zombies with music from "Thriller" ; steampunkers with occult and gothic atmospheres; and Mexican Calaveras.
