Strong winds and storm surges: Weather alert issued for the island
The most affected coasts are those of Gallura and the Gulf of Orosei, where the bad weather could evolve into a storm.

Weather warning for Sardinia due to strong winds and storm surges . The Civil Protection warning is valid from midnight tonight until midnight tomorrow, Monday, October 27th.
Strong north-westerly winds are forecast across much of the island , which could develop into a storm or gale on the coasts of Gallura and the Gulf of Orosei and on the eastern ridges.
On the more exposed northern coasts and the north-western ones, storm surges of up to 4 metres are possible .
