The bad weather that is lashing Sardinia is creating problems not only for road traffic.

Due to adverse weather and sea conditions, the maritime connections between Sardinia and Corsica have been suspended, while there are inconveniences on the route to and from Carloforte.

The Moby ferry that travels on the Santa Teresa Gallura-Bonifacio has been stopped for three days due to the stormy sea.

All the maritime traffic for the island of San Pietro (Carloforte) was diverted, however, from the port of Portovesme to that of Calasetta, with the same timetables and the same shipping.
