A 27-year- old Moroccan, unemployed and with previous charges against, in good standing on the national territory, was arrested yesterday by the carabinieri of Villasor for aggravated theft .

The man was surprised by the military in via Cagliari while he forced the door and entered the cockpit of a Chevrolet Aveo , parked on the side of the road, owned by a 68-year-old retiree of the place. After a brief escape attempt, the stranger was immediately blocked and searched.

In addition to the items and cash stolen from the car, the man was found in possession of 1 gram of marijuana and 1 gram of hashish , allegedly held for personal use .

The stolen goods were entirely returned to the rightful owner while the arrested person, also reported as a drug addict, was taken to the Court in Cagliari for the direct judgment scheduled for today morning.
